At Vertex, we understand the important role that education programs play in enabling healthcare providers at all levels to improve their skills and knowledge, with the goal of improved patient outcomes. We hope to advance these goals by providing support to a wide range of educational initiatives. Our grant program is focused on supporting high-quality, balanced and independent projects, programs and activities in the therapeutic areas to which the company has focused its research and development efforts, including Hepatitis C Virus (HCV) and Cystic Fibrosis (CF).

Any grants provided by Vertex are not conditioned in any way on the use, purchase, prescribing, or recommending for prescribing of any current or future Vertex product.

  • The Vertex grant committee usually reviews each request within 45 days of receiving all required documentation. You will be notified by email of the committee’s decision.
  • Please read the Eligibility Requirements and Preparing a Grant Request (PDF) information carefully before submitting a request.

Once you have reviewed all the information regarding Eligibility and Preparing a Grant Request, you may Submit a Grant Request.

Important notes:

  • Navigation of the submission form must be done by using the "Back" and "Next" buttons provided on each page. Please do NOT navigate using your browser's "Back" and "Next" buttons.
  • To avoid your session timing out and the loss of any unsaved data, each page of your grant request must be completed within 2 hours.
